Council of Catholic Women

The Holy Spirit Council of Catholic Women’s mission is developed from the National Council of Catholic Women which, “acts through its members to support, empower and educate all Catholic women in spirituality, leadership and service.”
The Council of Catholic Women considers all women of the parish as its members. Meetings include refreshments and a program. The Council sells White House Christmas ornaments to raise money for operating expenses and charitable donations; conducts bake sale for charity at Holy Spirit Parish yard sale; supports activities sponsored by other parish and diocesan groups; and organizes occasional day trips and additional charity fundraisers. Members are invited to a day of reflection in the fall and a retreat weekend in the spring.
New this year, “Coffee with Deacon Tom”! Check out the first talk, by Deacon Tom, on “Thankfulness”.
