Do I have to be a parishioner to have a funeral at Holy Spirit?
No, anyone may request to have a funeral at Holy Spirit.
Is there an option for a reception after Mass?
Yes, The funeral reception may be held at the school. For parishioners, room rental is free, however, non-parishioners must pay a stipend.
*Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the usual facilities in the school building are not available for general use
Can the parish community be notified of upcoming funerals?
Yes, most funerals are listed in the bulletin and in the Prayers of the Faithful at weekend Masses. You can also be added to the parish “Funeral Notification List” and will be emailed as funerals are scheduled. Email or call Cheryl in the rectory office (703-978-8074) to be added to that list. *Additionally, some funerals will be live streamed below.
