Youth Ministry – Life is Very Good & March for Life
Being Pro-Life is part of Holy Spirit’s Youth Ministry because it’s part of being faithfully Catholic. These are events that the high school youth participate in as part of our witness under the pastoral leadership of our Bishop Michael Burbidge – “Life is very good because we are created in the image and likeness of God, the One who knows us by name and under whose care and protection we continue to grow” – Bishop Burbidge’s homily for the Life is VERY Good 2017.
Life is VERY Good Evening of Prayer – Thursday January 22, 2026
6:00 PM – Meet at Taco Bamba Taqueria in University Mall, located across Braddock Rd for a FREE dinner together. After dinner we will walk to the Eagle Bank Arena.
7:30 PM – Life is Very Good Evening of Prayer at the Eagle Bank Arena. The night will be emceed by national speaker Oscar Rivera, Celtic rock band SCYTHIAN will open with the night with a high energy concert set, Sr. Elfie Del Rosario, F.M.A., will give the keynote, and chart-topping Catholic musician Seph Schlueter and his band will lead music for Eucharistic adoration with Bishop Michael Burbidge as the celebrant. National March for Life – Friday, January 23, 2026
Holy Spirit Youth Ministry joins with the whole parish and the Diocese of Arlington for the March for Life on Friday, January 23, 2026. “It’s only in God that we are able to go into our nation’s capital today courageous, confident, and unafraid” – Bishop Burbidge’s homily for the Life is VERY Good 2018.

11:30 AM – Busses depart Holy Spirit
4:30 PM (estimate) – Busses return to Holy Spirit
