Holy Spirit CYO Cheerleading is open to girls in grades 3-8, registered in one of the following: registered in one of the following: Holy Spirit School, Religious Education, or Homeschool.
Season Schedule:
Practices begin in September. Practices are held in the Holy Spirit School gym or Quinn Room on the following days:
- Grades 3-5 Junior Varsity on Wednesdays 5:00pm – 6:30pm beginning September 17, and Fridays 3:30pm – 5:00pm beginning September 12. For more information contact Coach Allyson [email protected].
- Grades 6-8 Varsity on Fridays 3:30pm – 5:00pm beginning September 5. For more information contact Coach Chantel [email protected].
Holy Spirit CYO Cheerleading also participates in the Cardinal Winter Blast Competition at Bishop Ireton High School, towards the end of the season.
Online Registration & Forms:
Along with the online registration through SportsPilot, the following must be reviewed and completed prior to participation:
- NVJCYO: League Expectations video produced by the Diocese of Arlington – must be watched by parents / guardians and participant
- Code of Conduct for all Participants– to be returned to your coach on the first day of practice
- Permission and Medical Form– to be returned to your coach on the first day of practice
- Concussion Information Sheet– to be returned to your coach on the first day of practice
The participation fee is a total of $125 + $50 uniform deposit.

We are in need of adult volunteer coaches so that Holy Spirit can participate in the Diocesan CYO Winter Cheer season. If you have cheer experience please prayerfully consider volunteering your time and talent with CYO Cheer.
