Baptism
“Go and baptize all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19)
We are very excited that you want to have your child baptized! It is a critical and indispensable means by which you pass down the faith to your children.
Please download and complete the Baptism application form and contact Cheryl Hutchinson at [email protected] to schedule your child’s baptism. You can contact us even before your child is born to begin making arrangements. For children over the age of 7 years old, please contact the Religious Education Office as they will need to attend preparation classes.
You must also contact the parish office to attend a REQUIRED baptism preparation class held on the second Saturday of each month at 10:00am.
Baptisms at Holy Spirit are held on Sundays at 1:15 PM.

Godparent Information
Before selecting sponsors or godparents, please make sure they are able to serve in this role. Sponsors or godparents need to meet ALL the following requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Must be baptized and confirmed
- Currently practicing the faith and if married must be recognized by the Catholic Church
- Obtain a letter from their home parish stating they are able to serve in this role
