What will we be studying in Lent?

During the last week of February, we will begin a five-week study of No Greater Love, which was filmed on location in the Holy Land with Dr. Edward Sri. Walk step-by-step with Jesus during Holy Week from the Garden of Gethsemane to Mount Calvary.

When do we meet?

Weekly meetings are typically held in McGivney Hall.

  • Wednesday Morning Study Group starts February 25, 9:45-11:15 am
  • Thursday Evening Study Group starts February 26, 7-8:30 pm

You can register here! The cost is $25 for one year, 2025-2026. Use the webpage link to order your copy of the Ascension Press workbook. Digital access to the videos for your personal use is optional.

About Us

The women of the Holy Spirit Parish Women’s Bible Study invite YOU to join us as we draw closer to God through Scripture, service of others, and spending time together.

Starting in 2018, our group used – and loved – the Walking with Purpose program for Catholic women. Having completed most of their studies, we decided in 2024 to explore the Bible through materials offered by Ascension Press and became the Women’s Bible Study.

From 2018 to the present, almost 200 women have joined us as we grow in our faith together.

This year, we will be offering talks, activities, and social events for all female members – past, present, and future – from April through August. Starting in September, we will resume our program of Bible studies and learn about the Gospel of Luke, our Lady’s role in God’s Kingdom (during Advent), and our Lord’s Passion (during Lent).
