Good Samaritan Society Intercessory Prayer Group
Do you need prayer?
“Pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.”
Ephesians 6:18
Our Good Samaritan Society Intercessory Prayer Group is happy to join you in praying for your needs and intentions. To submit a prayer request, email us at [email protected]
All Christians are members of the Body of Christ, and as such, we need one another. If you are struggling with a difficult situation, please reach out to the clergy, church groups, or faithful friends in your area. If you live in or near Holy Spirit Parish, you can reach out to our priests, deacons, or various groups listed on our parish website.
Do you want to join us in praying for others?
“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”
Matthew 18:20
To join our group and to receive a list of prayer requests each week, email us at [email protected]. We also pray Morning Prayer together in the church every First Saturday of the month after the 9 am Mass.
Do you want to learn more about prayer?
“For me, prayer is a surge of the heart; it is a simple look turned toward heaven, it is a cry of recognition and of love, embracing both trial and joy.
St. Theresa of Lisieux, Story of a Soul
The Catechism of the Catholic Church has an excellent section on prayer, which you can find here.
Our prayer group has also studied in this book, Unleashing the Power of Intercessory Prayer, which we recommend if you want to learn more about praying for others.
