Safe Environment Training for High Schoolers

Our Office of Youth Ministry will be offering a Safe Environment Training: Called to Protect to all high schoolers registered in our youth ministry program. The training will be offered on Sunday, December 11th during our regular Sunday night meeting at 7:00PM.

This topic is extremely pertinent and the Diocese cares enough about creating safe and secure environments for our youth in today’s day and age to require that we have a special night for this training.

If you wish to opt-out your teen from this training you MUST fill this form out HERE. If you cannot make this training date we will have a make-up session at our following Sunday Night Meeting

What is the Called to Protect Safe Environment Training Program?

Called to Protect for Youth training teaches high-school teens about appropriate boundaries, how to respond if someone tries to violate those boundaries and how to tell their parents, or another reliable adult if they, or a friend, have been abused. It helps them to recognize their own personal boundaries and encourages appropriate communication.
