Due to the current Coronavirus pandemic, we will be following all social distancing and masking requirements as issued by the state and diocesan authorities.
2020-2021 MSYM Friday Night Meetings: Yes! We will be meeting for the 2020-2021 year, although we do not have a firm start date. We want to wait for the new school year to settle in a bit and let everyone get used to the new required routines. And yes our meetings will look a little different.
Here at Holy Spirit Middle School Youth Ministry (MSYM) we believe that hanging out with your friends and having a fun and crazy time are all part of figuring out why we need Jesus and building an awesome friendship with Him. Don’t believe us…well come on over and give us a chance (or two) to prove you wrong.
Here is what you need to know: We meet twice a month on Friday evenings from 7:30pm – 9:30pm, beginning in the Gym and then heading outside to play LASER TAG! Yes, you heard right for this year Middle School Friday Night Meetings will include Laser Tag (up to 40 youth per meeting) and non-laser tag small group gathering (up to 10 youth per meeting). There will be an additional $6 fee per youth that will be charged for Laser Tag. So that all may participate signing up via Sign-Up Genius will be required for each meeting. We anticipate that youth will only be able to attend once per month. Our awesome night will end with pizza and drinks outside. Dismissal is via a carpool line in the front of the school.

Our 8th Grade Lunches are currently on hold for the 2020-2021 year, but they will take place shortly after the school year begins.
8th Grade Lunches take place once a month. We invite all 8th graders to the Youth Room for a lunch from one of their favorite eateries (Chipotle, Five Guys, etc.). There is no cost and we invite any non-Holy Spirit 8th graders to join us if they are able. Just send us a quick RSVP email a day or so before so we order enough food.
While we are bummed that Boot Camp did not take place this year, we are excited for the 2021 Year! We will keep you posted on next summer so stay tuned!

Cor Unum meetings for the 20-21 Ministry Year are currently on hold. Stay Tuned for more information to come!
Cor Unum – Small Groups for Guys and Girls form today’s young hearts in the faith. All 7th and 8th graders are encouraged to join our single sex discussion groups. The groups meet on all the same days we have youth group meetings.

Complete the on-line registration form prior to your youth’s first meeting. An annual fee of $40 is required and payable from the on-line registration form. Scholarships and discounts are available as needed! Please just send an email to request one.
