How do I get my child baptized?
“Go and baptize all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”Matthew 28:19
We are very excited that you want to have your child baptized. It is a critical and indispensable means by which you pass down the faith to your children.
When are Baptisms?
Baptisms are normally held on Sundays at 1:15 PM.
How do we prepare for our child’s Baptism?
Please call the parish office at 703.978.8074 to attend a baptism preparation class, which is required and held on the second Saturday of each month at 10:00 AM.
Please also complete the Baptism Application and turn it into the Parish Office.
Who can be a Godparent?
Before selecting a Godparent(s), please make sure they are able to serve in this role.
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Must be baptized and confirmed
- Must be currently practicing the faith and if married must be recognized by the Catholic Church
- Obtain a letter from their home parish stating they are able to serve in this role
