Annual Holy Spirit Men’s Retreat at Loyola on the Potomac

Please Join Us for the Annual Holy Spirit Men’s Retreat at Loyola on the Potomac, March 6-8

Who: The men of Holy Spirit parish have been going on the annual retreat to Loyola on the Potomac, a Jesuit retreat house, for over 40+ years. We encourage you to bring family and friends.

What: Whether we intend it or not, whether we like it or not, we are immersed in a world of exterior and interior noise, growing louder each day. Noise distracts and empties, leaving little room for God. This brief Ignatian weekend offers the gift of silence and includes generous amounts of time for rest, prayer, personal reflection and the cultivation of a deeper relationship with the Lord. This retreat will rekindle your relationship with the Father who loves you. It will also provide you with the gifts to be a more loving husband, father, grandfather, friend, and servant of Christ.

Where: The spectacular retreat house is located in Faulkner, MD – a 1 hr. 15 min. drive from the parish. The retreat house is surrounded by acres of woods, hiking trails and sits on a bluff overlooking the beautiful Potomac river. Most of the individual rooms offer wonderful river views. Handicap accessible rooms and carpooling options are available.

When: The retreat begins with the famous crab cake dinner on Friday, March 6th and concludes with mass and lunch on Sunday, March 8th…less than 48 hours.

Cost:  The cost this year for all meals and room is $225 and if you are first time retreatant or under 30 years old you pay $195.

Registration/Questions: The deadline to reserve your slot is Friday 14 February and the deposit cost is $115. You also can reserve your slot online with credit card at https://loyolaonthepotomac.com/registration-3/ignatian/. Deposit checks can be made out to ‘Loyola Retreat House’ and mailed to the following address: Sean Roberts, c/o Loyola Retreat, 5416 Panola Court, Springfield, VA 22151

Not Sure?: Please give me a call and let me answer your questions/concerns. I’m a father of four kids (10-21 yrs) who received this invitation about 19 years ago and have been attending ever since. Deciding to accept the good Lord’s invitation planted the seeds for aan incredibly vibrant relationship and has improved every aspect of my life. I can be reached at Sean Roberts, [email protected], 703-640-4157.
